An improvised carnival. Vital sprint. Dance. Collective run to the take-off. An interactive performance.

The performing group will be formed by a heterogeneous crowd of approximately thirty people including friends, volunteers, strangers, six basketball players, a group of teenagers, and the artist himself. Each performer brings or holds a sculpture or a simple object, like an extension of his body. Together they will form a skyline, as that of New York.

Different objects will identify four groups within the multitude:

-First group: everybody carries on his/her back a series of chairs with an architectural assemblage made by different objects (including small radios, all switched on).

-Second group: each person carries a towel with an exotic pattern. Side by side, or in small groups, they create a sort of wall, or ensemble of precarious rooms.

-Third Group: 8 people dancing to the beat of Romanian techno music, each one holding a yellow melon.

-Fourth group: a variable group of people holding boxes tied to their back like small back-packages.

-A teenage boy, dressed in a Futuristic costume inspired by Depero (which will be tailored by the celebrated Italian fashion designer Antonio Marras), drives a toy motorbike and wears a helmet covered in white shells.

Curated by  Barbara Casavecchia and Caroline Corbetta.
